Painting With A Twist
This is an app for employees working there, giving them easy access to their schedules, ways to connect with one another through the app and share and keep track of their experiences and accomplishments. It also makes their lives simpler by keeping track of the things they do, need help with, and things to research when coming upon what they call, a brain fart!

This questionaire process helped to figure out what was really necessary to have in this app.to get it to function the way intends to for the user. You don’t want to put things into the app that you don’t need, this app is built to make the work process for painting with a twist employees easier. Especially when it comes to scheduling, because they have to access everything off a spread sheet online instead of having a readable schedule.
Sympathy Map
This sympathy map was a process to figure out what was really needed to make this app function the way it needs to. By taking the primary user of this map and putting yourself in there shoes to see how this person would operate while using is, (says, does, thinks, feels).
Color Palette
The color palette used for this project is from an everyday wine that you could get from the store. The colors seemed perfect for the app. A settle color for the back ground of the app, that similar to the color of a chardonay, so it would’nt over power the the paintings that would be portrayed through this app.
These few spreads are the log in and scheduling page which is the most important of all the pages in the app. The painting with a twist company does not have a place foe employees to access there schedules easily. It would just be a massive calendar of squished type with everyones schedule on it. I wanted this app to give easy access to there schedules and access of employees exchanging shifts with other people. So as soon as you log in , you see your available shifts.
The, “How To” segment of the app, is for all employees, (new and old). I learned as an employee of painting with a twist, you can’t remember how to mix every color nor remember every brush technique to finish paintings. So this part of the app gives you direct access to be able to research anything you don’t know how to do or don’t remember how to do directly on the app. It will give you suggestions or you can go to the search bar and type in your question if it is not listed below. No more of mixing the wrong color or having to ask around how to do something when your the instructor.
Accomplishments
The accomplishments part of the app is the a place for employees to keep track of the things and techniques they have learned and mastered while working for this company. It also shows you everyone elses and from the instructors to the students that you teach. You can take those pictures and also share them directly on your social media platforms.
Chore list
This is a chore list page for employees as they close and open the store. Often times there is one employee in the store at one time and there may not be anyone to contact if there is something questionable on what to do. The part of the app makes it easy, it shows them what they have done and what else they need to complete. If there not sure of what something is, they can click the word, and a little pop up description tab will come up explaining what needs to be done!
